Everyone has places in their lives where they go and feel completely at home. Places where you do not have to worry about what others think, or guard your words so as not to offend someone. Places where you can take your children and not have to worry if they're welcome. This place for me is Jennifer's. Not only can she always fix my hair exactly the way I want it, but I always look forward to going to her shop. This week, while some might have been offended by the smell of ammonia or the "Monkey in the Middle" game taking place in the middle of the salon, Jennifer and I were laughing, proud of our band...only short of a vocalist:

ReplyDeleteAlso....might I add....she also runs a completely nursing friendly establishment (thank goodness it's COMPLETELY friendly) , and your three year old is allowed to sleep on your lap while she works. Nothing, I mean NOTHING beats that. I really do love her.
